Take part in engaging conversations

We host regular “Think and Drink” sessions (both virtual and in person) on a variety of socially relevant topics. Recent topics have ranged from Cancel Culture to the Israel / Palestine conflict as well as more personal topics like the Meaning of Work.

Each session is limited to 10-15 participants per session. A host / moderator will (lightly) guide the discussion, starting with a quick round of introductions followed by a series of discussion questions.

Learn more about socially relevant issues

Because our discussions are for generalists, there are often varying levels of familiarity with discussion topics. So leading up to our events, we often share interesting resources and primers, and we often bring in guest experts from the industry to give a short presentation before jumping into discussion.

What our community members are saying…

“One of the best discussions I’ve had in a long time”

“I listen to a lot of podcasts and read content, but nothing really sticks as well as these discussions do.

Having really thoughtful and well-read people in the room to chat with, a knowledgeable host to get the conversation started, and everyone ALWAYS putting great perspectives for us to chew on.”

“Meet people who are curious about the world”

“Think and Drinks allow me to meet and engage with people who are curious about the world. I can have a contentious conversation without having to worry about offending people because while not everyone is a friend of mine , we are bound by a social connection and trust.”

“Far less expensive than going back to school”

“Outside of college/grad school, it's not often that you get to have substantive discussions about ideas with people you disagree with. Think and Drink is a throwback that is far less expensive than going back to school.”

“Step back and engage in rich discussion”

“It's a treat to take some time out of the week to step back and engage in rich discussion with thoughtful people”

“A group of really smart, thoughtful people”

“I can trust that it will always be a group of really smart, thoughtful people that are grappling with difficult, complex topics together.”

“Develop a more nuanced view of the world”

“We’re in echo chambers and don’t get a chance to engage in thoughtful discussions. These conversations really help me develop a more nuanced and practical view of the world”
